TED Tuesday: Clean drinking water, quick and cheap November 10, 2009

Too much of the world lacks access to clean drinking water. Engineer Michael Pritchard did something about it — inventing the portable Lifesaver filter, which can make the most revolting water drinkable in seconds. An amazing demo from TEDGlobal 2009.

What a wonderful project, thats going to mean a great deal to many people that have access to water but its not clean.

I hope the Charities know of this.

  2. I appreciate you for posting such a creative blog. this site happens to be not only useful but also bvery imaginative too. There normally are a limited number of bloggers who can think to create not so easy articles that creatively. Keep up the good work !!

Do you know if this is something that works over night or does it take a while for it to work?

    • Radiance Says:

As you can see in the video, it is INSTANTANEOUS. Put the water in one end and in 5 minutes after shaking, you get clean water from other end. No overnight business. That’s why it is SO effective!
